Elzhi :: “Deep” Produced by Black Milk
If someone asked me who my top five favorite emcees were, Elzhi of Slum Village and his own justified solo fame would definitely be one of the top contenders. ‘The Preface” was easily one of my top albums of 2008. Often slept on and under appreciated, 2009 will be the year that Elzhi shines with another fresh jawn scheduled for release later this year called The Feed. In a slightly slow and somewhat subpar begining to the year of new music releases, I’m looking forward to a solid release from the 313 to bring a fresh breath to a rather stale 2009.
