TiRon – Ketchup
Apparently, it isn’t too early for ‘Best of 2009′ lists. I was scanning thru the online edition of the LA Times and stumbled across Jeff Weiss’s The Quarterly Report: The best hip-hop albums of 2009, thus far. Although I completely disagree with Doom being at the head of the class (and where the hell is Drake?!), I was elated to agree with most of the list. Most notably, TiRon‘s mixtape “Ketchup” that was mixed by my dude Dj Low Key and also features guest verses from Blu,Buff1, Ayomari and more . Be sure to check ’3 Drink Minimum’ if you’re feeling a little loose and my personal favorite, ‘My Wingman & Me.’
