Stevie Wonder + Michael Jackson tribute (video)
Today, while watching the coverage of Michael Jackson‘s funeral and memorial service, there was one definitive moment which literally had me in tears at my desk. Those of you that know me know that there are two men in my life musically which have touched me to such a deep degree – one being Stevie Wonder and the other being MJ. I have been waiting for this all week: Stevie‘s tribute song. I wondered what it would be, how he would sound, what he would say about Michael… I know there’s a lot of negativity going around about the man, but let’s face it – most of the greats have had some pretty unflattering pasts, and who has time to judge shit anyway? I’d much rather listen to Dirty Diana at the end of the day and call it good.
