Diamond to release solo album… finally.
I loved ‘Hated on Mostly‘ from Crime Mob, which was released in 2004, and finally found a taste of commercial success when ‘Rock Yo Hips,’ featuring Little Scrappy hit mainstream radio airwaves in 2006. One of the few crews that initially had multiple female counterparts, Crime Mob came correct… In later years, one-half of the female force left. Diamond, arguably the better of the two broads, has announced the release of her new solo album, which is scheduled to drop within the next year. Her first single is to feature Goodie Mob & Gnarls Barkley powerhouse Cee-Lo, and the album has feature nods to Keri Hilson and Three Six Mafia. Quite frankly, this broad has been talking about releasing a solo album since her departure from the group in 2007, we’ll see what the future holds… hopefully she doesn’t rock the Lil Kim route and completely fall off of her rocker.
