Jay-Z :: Blueprint 3 cover & track list v.2.0

Jay-Z_blueprint3_cover

Okay, okay.  I’ve posted now three track lists for The Blueprint 3 and also the Blueprint Collector’s Edition… Apparently, this may be the official ish.  There are very little moments when albums drop where I’m this stoked and I’m some “is there an app for the Blueprint 3 countdown?  I need one.”  You know, so I can look at my phone like… “Oh, only 36 days,  15 hours, 20 minutes, and 10 seconds left.”  My early opinions are listed below.

My early predictions:

#1 will knock hard.  That’s always what Jay does – usually the intro beat (if this isn’t just acapella audio blah blah blah shit) is pretty hard.

#2 You’re welcome, Hov.

#3 D.O.A. was kinda cool a few months ago… definitely over it.  What’s next?

#4 I like this track, but I’m sure radio & network TV will overplay this.  Really, two tracks that have already been soft released in a row?

#5 I’m glad he’s not working with Beyonce.  Probably because he put a ring on it, and now it’s either divorce or a small arguement.  Apparently, Jay won.  I love Alicia Keys, but… unless it’s Mary J. Blige from 10 years ago, I have my reservations.

#6 Hmmm… I can’t predict.  Sometimes, Jeezy comes with it.

#7 I LOVE SWIZZ BEATZ.There, I said it.  I love Just Blaze too, hi haters.  Please, don’t let either rap.

#8 You should know how I feel about Drake. His success was predicted early on by many (myself included, as I have referred to him as my future husband in many occassions)

#9 I quite frankly think this may be the sleeper track out of all of them – that one, slo-mo classic Jay track that has some random guest appearance that everyone sleeps on (think Song Cry, This Can’t Be Life, etc.).  At least, that’s what I’m hoping for – J. Cole has been nothing but impressive in my opinion.

#10 I’ve learned through making this list, it’s a lot easier to talk shit about Jay’s guests.  3 solo songs so far… We’re @ track #10.

#11 Cudi‘s goning to bring our Jay’s lighter side, that fun, not so old and not so drug dealer side.  Stoked.

#12  Does Kanye produce this beat?  This is interesting… You know Kanye doesn’t give Jay the throw away beats.  Down for the 808, but not the heartbreak.

#13 4th solo song.  Better be hard, if it’s some slow ass shit after what I hope the Cudi track is,I’d probably eject.

#14 YES! Pharrell + Hov.

#15 Mr. Hudson?  YES.  I expected some sort of mash-up type track, you so predictable, Jay.
