The 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors will premiere on VH1 October 13, 2009 and honors Def Jam Records. Tracy Morgan is scheduled to host, and the show will also feature performances from DMX (seriously? no), Eminem, Fabulous, Gym Class Heroes, Ja Rule (what the f…), Mary J. Blige, Method Man (Method Man AND Mary together? Someone please tell me that will happen), Ludacris, Kid Rock, Onyx, Public Enemy, Redman, Rick Ross, The Roots, Scarface, Trey Songz, and Warren G.
