Reebok Freestyle :: Divinity Greek Pack (Medusa, Callisto and Athena :: Fall 2010)
It’s sad when a sneaker pack delivers a solid 33% (this figure may be debatable, I’m not 100% sold on either of these colorways except the silvery snakeskin Medusa colorway pictured left – but I’m a self-admitted snakeskin addict).
However, I have to throw Reebok a bit of credit for a few reasons – but also truly define this pack as what’s wrong and also what’s right with ladies colorways right now. First, ladies’ sneaker colorways are often overlooked completely. Second, if they’re done, they’re probably done with such drastic measures that they lose appeal (see the copper-colored Athena colorway below – way too much and way too ugly). Third, they’re a bit boring or look like every other shoe out there (see the Callisto which features white stars on black). Anyone with a whiteout pen could have modified an old pair of Freestyles to look like that, right?
