About Miss Rachel

2008-03-01_nicoroxRachel Romero is a Denver native who found her roots within hip hop, soul, jazz, funk, punk rock music, and sneaker culture.  As a Basementalism veteran and local hip hop advocate, Miss Rachel has made her mark on her hometown — and beyond — in a serious way.  In addition, she is also a co-producer (along with long-time business partner, Dj Lazy Eyez) for 38thSquare.com, which is a video blog which highlights artists, entrepreneurs, and other cultural movers & shakers within her community.

In 2009, Rachel combined her love of music, fashion, and geekery to create PopularLemonade.  Over the past two years, she has welcomed numerous contributors who specialize in bringing the most compelling and interesting content to the masses.

PopularLemonade has  sponsored and organized a plethora of events that include album release parties, collaborative parties, fundraisers, and design collaborations.

In addition, her professional work as a project and account manager for a top 100 web site (Quantcast, 2011) has created expertise in the Web 2.0 realm, including SEO techniques, effective web journalism, and social media marketing and promotion.  She has worked with Fortune 500 companies to create online branding and co-branding campaigns and has found a niche in her ability to assess the success of these efforts.
